What is Your Currency Worth?

Can you imagine a world that valued what you knew as a hard currency? How much wealth would you have? Would your bank account be full, or are you living day-to-day?

That world is real. Your value is more than a smile and having people like you. Your currency is related to what you know. There was a day when it was about who you knew. There were times when it was about when you knew. Now it is about what you know, when you share it and with whom. One guy said it best, “In this economy your knowledge is your price.” A person with low wages does not know much. A person with high earnings knows a lot. What a fair game. Everyone has the opportunity to gain knowledge and share it. Few do, however.

I love coaching people on gaining a zest for knowledge and learning how to use it to add value to their network. It is the key to growing any business or expand any life. As Charlie Jones said best, “The only difference from where you are right now, and where you’ll be one year from now, are the books you read and the people you meet.” Love reading. Meet people. It’s simple, but it takes a life of habit and work.
