Today is a day to celebrate with family and friends. I am grateful for being an American. We have the freedom to pursue happiness. We can go after our dreams. I spent some time reading the Declaration Of Independence this morning. What courage our early founders had to defy the overwhelming British empire. They had dreams of their own and laid the foundations for future generations to pursue their own free of tyranny.
My father served 25 years in the Army. I can remember the pride he had wearing his uniform and serving our country. We have men and women fighting around the world for our freedoms continually. Freedom is not free. It always has a cost.
For me, I want to pay the price of liberty every day by bringing as much value to others as possible, going after my dreams and helping to continue to make America great.
