Confusing Hard With Impossible

no secret to success

Those are two entirely different things, hard and impossible. And we can talk ourselves into them being the same thing if we are not careful.

Hard is part of reality. It’s hard to change course, leave your dead end job, shut down a dying concept and go for what has not been attempted.

Impossible is of the sort where the laws of physics would be defied or the math does not add up.

It’s interesting to listen to what comes out of people’s mouths and minds. When they speak adamantly of what is impossible, it’s too often a boundary set inside the mind, not the realities of the world. We can talk ourselves out of opportunities or doing the right thing pretty easily because it’s hard, rarely impossible.

What are you saying to yourself about what you want?
