Creating New Opportunities

A quick Monday tip when you want to create new opportunities. This has been a business approach and philosophy I have employed for over 25+ years and I feel like my life and business have been rewarding because I focus on helping people specifically, often and with impact. Here’s a simple daily habit and process:

  1. Learn and Grow. You cannot give what you do not possess. You learn and grow by reading books, meeting new people and thinking about what you are learning.
  2. Share. When you learn something or meet someone that can help someone else, make the connection and share the information or the relationship. Offer ideas
  3. Solve problems. Help the people that are coming into your life with their problems. Help them with ideas and relationships. Help them get new customers. Help them find new friends. Help them get more productive. Help them with their health. Help them with their kids. Be a person of extreme value.

Ideally, you have a daily mindset of helping people. Life is full of problems, so there’s much opportunity.

What happens next? It’s not necessarily one to one in ROI. You increase the probabilities of conversations. You get invited into new relationships and opportunities. You create these by being a person who truly helps people by having value yourself.

Who can you help right now?
