Remove Complexity

When you remove the complexity, even the slightest effort can move what matters forward. – Greg McKeown

When we are enterprising and building a business, there’s a lot of work in process that can clutter the field. Operations, processes and tools can be laying everywhere.

Soon, before we know it, we have complexity that impedes our ability to innovate and get things done.

I liked this thought I got in my inbox today and I have found it to be true. When we are building or solving problems, the first thing to do is to remove complexity.

Get rid of old things that don’t matter.

Clean up project areas from tasks and clutter.

Delete information that simply was work in process for yesterday’s commitments.

Then, with a clear canvas, push on your new goal. You will be unencumbered, clear and fast.
