I am cheering on twenty-somethings. I have my two sons already out in the world figuring out who they want to be and pushing on the skills to help them get what they want.
My son, Isaac, shared Alex Hormozi’s video above. Its packed with fantastic advice for getting what you want in life and especially on the entrepreneurial journey.
I need to be reminded of many of these rich principles.
Focus on actions that lead to results. Everything else is noise.
Value learning because education and information are the killer apps. They pay the ignorance debt that costs us dearly.
Spend more time on making your product excellent. It is hard, long and demanding. However, it takes you out of the cycle of having to sell hard with money and effort.
Guard your reputation. That is your brand and everything you associate with – people, messages, products – either lower or increase trust with those you are seeking to connect with.
Don’t limit yourself with labels. Your old self is not necessarily your current self, much less your future self. If you are growth-oriented, be very careful of what you say about yourself or allow others to say about you that may not be true.
Wonderful advice and I am glad to be learning alongside my eager, entrepreneurial children as they push to get what they want out of life.
