Connection Points

Businesses are built to deliver a promise.  The promise is a product or service which enhances your buyers’ life by solving a problem or bringing pleasure.  In and of itself, the deliverable is sterile.  It is expected.  There is no flesh and blood to it.

The true connection points will come from your branding.  Thing such as:

  • How you care
  • What you say
  • Your story
  • How you make your buyer feel
  • Your responsiveness
  • Your packaging

These are the connection points which differentiate.  They are the human part of the otherwise sterile world of material and service exchange.  Making your product and service excellent are expected.  I assume you do these well.  Otherwise, you are not even in the game.

Work on the connection points and watch your fans grow.  They reward you with their network and their loyalty.  This is what you are fighting for every day.  Pay attention.  Connection points are where the game of business is won or lost.
